These Chicken Bricks come fro a Factory that we have worked with for almost 30 years, they are un glazed, both inside and outside and the idea is that you soak them in cold water and that this water provides the moisture for cooking the contents, chicken or whatever.

Most recipes recommend a temperature of between 190c and 200c and a cooking time of about 1 1/2 hours. 

There are many recipes out there and you will find chicken bricks great fun to use and lovely meals into the bargain.
